Does it matter to you whose share of paying for everything is more in a relationship?

Well, family is like a team and the couple goes together through the ups and downs of life. And with the fast changing job scenario, its difficult to predict anything. So I think it really doesnt matter in the long run who pays more as long as you both work for the family...equally trying to make it economically strong.

Savyonok, so you mean that not the money but mutual efforts matter. Well, somehow it just sounds a bit too ideal to me. How can you make sure your partner thinks the same while you believe in equally trying..?!

What is an ideal?

A relationship starts with trust and mutual commitment. Its like being a team together....and thats most practical. And its really got to be mutual. Its not just something your or mine..its our. And if ever you lose that, the relationship wont be strong enough to hold on.

Well, there is no other way to know a way than by knowing it walking the way.

Of course, I think that if people really love each other, they won't count whose share of money in the family is bigger.

But I also think that love should have some material base, so that it can develop and help to create a strong family. If both partners have nothing to share with each other, I doubt if their feelings would last of that long.

I think important is to discuss the money matters before marriage or serious relationships.......
