A new kid in town (Kenny Wormald) rebels against a local ban on dancing in
a remake of the 1980s teen favorite. With Julianne Hough and Dennis Quaid.

Julianne Hough plays the role of Ariel Moore, a small-town girl who falls for newcomer Ren MacCormack. Ren soon discovers that the town prohibits loud music and dancing in response to a tragic accident, and must face off against Ariel’s father, Reverend Shaw Moore (Dennis Quaid), to bring life back to the repressed community.
