| Hello everyone, a movie I like for years is the arthouse movie: "Monsoon wedding" by Mira Nair (who is Indian but her studios are in New York). Has anyone also seen the movie or another Mira Nair movie? Cheers, Eule | |

| Hey, thanks for the link to the talk about Mira Nair. This was interesting. I've watched "The Namesake" in cinema here in Germany. This movie nearly made me cry when the young woman came to the US and she felt so lonely. I like the line "The greatest journeys are the ones that bring you home." I feel a connection to my current life - what I'm a bit busy with inside. Finally, I also think that "The Namesake" is a very good movie, but I also prefer "Monsoon Wedding". I like the liveliness in "Monsoon Wedding". Cheers, Eule P.S.: Not about a Mira Nair movie, but I add an owl as an attachment . | |
