Why other person "completes" us?

Just wanted to know what u think about that...

Since nobody is perfect!

And why do we need another person at all???
That's what I actually wanted to ask...

Because I feel that nothing is missing in my life when we're together.
I guess you really need to feel fully accepted by other person who would know everything about you, so you can be just yourself and feel comfortable with them.

A theory of second half is very popular in Russia......so just wanted to know your thoughts about that...

Its here in India too....Ardhangini is used for wife....means your half portion.

I also think that by loving another person (not just as a life partner, but as a mother, child etc) we learn to love different sides of the God. It's like a lesson at school: before learning some general things we should learn some simple ones...
