And please be careful while pronouncing "kal". It should be pronounced with a short "a". If you say it as "kaal", it can mean both "time" and "death" hihi
Example:
Jab kal aa jayega - when tomorrow comes...
Jab kaal aa jayega - When the death comes...

Am I right, savenok?

Absolutely right! Smile

You know this is a big problem in Bengali speaking population...because in bangla there is no difference in kaal and kal..both are pronounced kaal Very Happy

The verb in Hindi is placed always at the end of the sentence. That's a feature which many asian languages share as well. So, Hindi is SOV language (i.e Subject-Object-Verb). In our case we don't say "My name is Peter", but "My name Peter is", that's the proper wordorder in Hindi. More examples:
उसका नाम Peter है. = His name is Peter. (Uska naam Peter hai.)
यह पानी है. = This is water. ( Yah pani hai. )
यह घर है. = This is a house. (Yeh ghar hai. )

Âîîáùå veer - ýòî ãåðîé, ñìåëü÷àê è âñå òàêîå, íî íà ïàíäæàáè veera - ýòî áðàò, òàê ÷òî òî÷íî ñêàçàòü ñëîæíî - òàì ãîâîðÿò ìîé ãåðîé èëè ìîé áðàò hihi

Veer is hero, but in punjabi veera means brother, so it could be both - oh my hero or oh my brother hihi

As for oye hoye - it doesn't mean anything special, it's hard for me even translate it into Russian, maybe savenok could help with explanation Cool I use it as Russian "îáà íà"

Razz Oye Hoye

The literary translation would be - Oh ho!

Usage could be:

Oye Hoye, jaise tumhe kuch pata nahi!
Oh ho, as if you dont know anything.

Oye Hoye, ab nakhre band karo.
Oh ho, now stop pretending.

Synonymous word in hindi: aye haye
